Join us as guest speaker, David Mead, takes us through how to become a more human leader.
Inspired by a world in which employees thrive at work, David began his career in corporate training in 2004 and spent 10 years on author, Simon Sinek’s, team from 2009 – 2019. He is an experienced keynote speaker and facilitator, having worked with over 225 companies on 5 continents. David took his years of practical experience and learning and co-authored, with Peter Docker and Simon Sinek, Find Your Why: a practical guide for discovering the WHY of an individual, team or organization. In working with and observing organizations throughout his career, David has seen how the daily pursuit of pure, basic, human leadership leads not only to thriving cultures but to enhanced business results.
Think of the leaders you choose to follow? What traits do they have in common? What makes them stand out in your mind? What impact did they have on you? We all have the opportunity to become that type of leader ourselves, in service of others. It is a daily pursuit that requires us to look in the mirror and drop the roles, the titles and the pretense that so often encumber our relationships. This session is an opportunity to evaluate how you’re doing when it comes to intentionally building your character as a leader.
In this session participants will:
- Challenge their perception of leadership and how it is often approached
- Explore the fundamentals of Human Leadership that form our character
- Gain insights on the daily practice of Human Leadership
- Share their thoughts and feedback via polling questions
