Amanda Wellford, Ph.D.
For over 15 years, Amanda has assisted a wide variety of organizations with implementing best-in-class talent management processes using her psychological expertise coupled with her real-world, entrepreneurial skills. From small firms to the Fortune 500, she has helped companies maximize the return on their talent portfolio.
She has consulted in various areas, including talent acquisition assessments, executive development coaching, and guiding CEOs and their teams to improve management practices ranging from personnel selection to compensation. She has worked extensively in organizations to define and reward performance in order to align employees with key organizational outcomes. With expertise in training and coaching, she has helped companies develop in-house tools to sustain and customize talent management programs.

- Amanda is a former owner of a specialty retail business and brings a unique expertise to business consulting. Through this work, she understands the challenges of attracting, identifying, and aligning the best talent to meet the demands of the marketplace.
- She is an active member and past President of Gateway Industrial-Organizational Psychologists, the American Psychological Association, and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
She holds an M.A. and Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Rice University, and a B.A. from Smith College.
